While there are many organizations that strive to help those living at or near the poverty line, that is not enough. Virtually no organization in Western Washington helps the tens of thousands of our residents who earn a livable wage, yet do not have the resources that they need to make it through even a small financial crisis. A job loss can wipe out a families savings in months- sometimes weeks. An illness or disability can do so even more quickly.

Our communities need organizations that aim their support at those families and individuals who earn a livable wage but are facing a crisis that they simply can not afford. They are the working class, middle class, the retired, recently divorced, short-term disabled, temporarily unemployed and the single parent families and they need our help. That is where Sharing Security steps in. We help struggling individuals and families, who have nowhere else to turn, to make it through whatever crisis they are facing and to do so with dignity and self-respect.

Join us in helping your neighbors, your employees, your community's educators and workers. Let them know that they are not alone. That you understand. That we have all, at one time or another, been where they are standing.

Sharing Security is a fledgling organization operating alone in an area of growing need and we need your help. However you want to help, and in whatever amount, we are grateful and we pledge to make sure your contribution does the greatest possible good.

During our first year of operation, Sharing Security spent less than $3,000.00 on operational costs and every penny of that was contributed to the organization by its Founders. No portion of any other contribution was used for administrative costs.

If you would like to send a check to help the members of your community with nowhere to turn. Please make checks payable to Sharing Security, and mail to:
