Getting Help

At Sharing Security we understand that life is full of twists and turns, and that some of its obstacles cannot be anticipated or overcome. No matter how hard we all struggle to make it on our own, everyone needs help sometimes. For the lucky ones there are parents, family or friends that can help them through the difficult times. For those living at or near the poverty line there are government resources. For everyone else, there is Sharing Security.

Sharing Security provides short-term financial assistance to individuals and families who find themselves facing a crisis with nowhere to turn. If you have been told that your income is too high to get assistance, if you are disqualified from other resources because you still have a few dollars left in savings, turn to us.

You are not alone. You have done nothing wrong. Everyone, at one time or another, has stood in your shoes. We understand and we appreciate the courage that it takes to ask for help. We also understand that everyone's situation is unique. It is our commitment to you that we will review each application for assistance individually and then we will work with you to help you through this crisis.

For assistance by phone, contact us at (425) 605-4257. Our volunteers will take some preliminary information over the phone and then send you an application. Simply fill out the form and return it to us.
