Yes. Sharing Security has been recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a public charity, tax exempt under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). Donations to such organizations are tax deductible to the fullest extent provided by law.
Each application is reviewed by our staff, case by case, based on the individual circumstances. Determinations of whether an individual or family qualifies for Sharing Security's assistance and in what amount take the whole situation into account - not just the numbers.
Just because you have been turned down by other organizations does not mean that you will be turned down by us. Our guidelines are very different from most other organization. Give us a chance to understand your situation. Chances are, we can help or we know someone who can.

We understand and respect your desire to keep your relationship with Sharing Security confidential. We will not share your application information or any other information about our relationship with you with any person or organization unless you have given us permission to do so.
After I submit my application for assistance, how long will it take before I hear back?
The length of time needed to complete the full review of an application varies. However, all applicants will be contacted by a Sharing Security representative within 48 hours of receipt of their application to discuss this, and other issues personally. If your need is more urgent- let us know.
